Cantonment Board Clifton


Clifton Cantonment remained a part of Karachi Cantt. till 1980. Created as an independent cantonment by bifurcating Karachi Cantt, through a Notification dated 09-08-1980. It covers virtually the whole of DHA, 07 Katchi Abadies located on the periphery and Block -8 & 9 of old KDA Scheme-5. DHA and CBC both are sister organizations & have to work hand in hand to provide quality services to the residents. One of the poshest localities of Karachi, Sprawling shopping centers and decent re-creational areas, neat and clean environment. 18 km long beach towards Southern proximity and Self-reliant civic body which does not depend upon either Federal or Provincial Govt. for financial assistance. The area includes 8 DHA phases, Block-8 & 9 of old KDA Scheme-V & 07 Katchi Abadies i.e, Punjab Colony, Dehli Colony, Madni Abad, Pak Jamhuria Colony, Bakhshan Village, Chandio Village & Lower Gizri.
